Mile Jedinak is a midfielder of Crystal Palace. He was born on 3 August 1984 in Sydney, Australia.
In 2001, Mile penned his first professional contract with Sydney United after several years in the academy of the club. The footballer started to make occasional appearances for the team, but he lacked playing time, which entailed the loan move to NK Varaždin in 2003. However, Jedinak failed to take part in any league fixtures during his spell and returned to his parent Sydney United, where he took his tally to 12 goals in 82 games by 2006.
In 2006, the midfielder transferred to Central Coast Mariners and received a lot of positive reviews from pundits and the coaching staff during the pre-season training, which helped him to come on the pitch in the 2006/2007 season. Mile did not become a regular, but managed to net eight goals in 45 matches for the club during three seasons.
In 2009, the footballer sealed a deal with Turkish side Gençlerbirliği, but went on loan to Antalyaspor at once. He fired five goals in 28 fixtures for the temporary team during one season and returned to his parent club, where he found the net four times in 38 games till 2011.
In the summer 2011, Jedinak put pen to paper of a contract with English side Crystal Palace, where he became the pivot almost at once and kicked three goals in 59 matches as of February 2013.
In 2003, the midfielder took part in nine fixtures for the Australia national U-20 squad. From 2008, he has been capped 37 times and contributed three goals for the full national team.
