A Spanish footballer Rafael Ramos Lozano, also known as Rafita, performs as a wingback for Almería. Rafael was born on 18 September 1982 in Palma, Balearic Islands.
Rafita started his professional performance at Ferriolense. He defended the club during the 2001/2002 season. Over the course of that period, he made several appearances for the main team. His performance was noticed by some clubs, among them was Mallorca. In 2002, Lozano joined Mallorca B team, after the all terms had been agreed. He became the squad’s pivot of the defense. He performed for the reserves during three season amassing 14 goals in 100 matches.
In 2005, Rafael was promoted to the main team of Mallorca. The 2005/2006 season was lined with single appearance made. In 2006, the defender was loaned out by Ciudad Murcia, where he got enough playing time to keep fit. Altogether, he made 29 appearances and scored two goals.
In the summer 2007, a move to Castellón happened. Lozano signed the contract and immediately established himself as a member of the first eleven. The spell was lined 86 appearances made and two goals racked up. In 2010, the defender was transferred to Recreativo, where he stayed for a season. During that time, Rafita produced a solid performance netting two goals in 34 games. In 2011, Rafael Ramos became official player of Almeria. He continues to play for the squad today.
