3 Betting Tips You Can Use for the Decisive Premier League Matches 2023/2024

The 2023/24 Premier League season is entering its final stage with just three regular rounds left before the competition is done. Arsenal are currently top of the league but their spot is far from secure as the competitors are close behind, with Manchester City having a game in hand.

Like with any iconic Premier League season, the current one is keeping the fans on the edge of their seats until the last match day with the name of the champion, European qualification spots and relegation spots yet to be decided.

Thus, it is no surprise to see the surge in Premier League betting odds as every remaining match can make or break the season for the teams involved. Of course, this will be especially true for title challengers Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City.

2023/24 Premier League Title Race

Manchester City have won the last three consecutive Premier League titles but their run may be ended this year. Unlike in the past couple of seasons, Pep Guardiola’s team is facing competition from two teams at the same time – Arsenal and Liverpool

Arsenal and Liverpool are currently both ahead of the Citizens by one point but Man City have a game in hand. Additionally, the defending champions have an easier calendar ahead of them, with the only worthy opponent being Tottenham Hotspur.

After being eliminated from the Champions League in the quarter-finals, Guardiola needs the Premier League andFA Cup double to call the 2023/24 season a success. But Arsenal and Liverpool cannot give up now because a chance like this may not present itself again next year.

Aston Villa vs Liverpool - Both Teams to Score? Yes

Similar to Arsenal, Liverpool only have Premier League to fight for this season. While the Reds have other big dates on the calendar, by far the most important will be the visit to Aston Villa on Monday, May 13.

Jurgen Klopp risks finishing his last season at Anfield trophyless, but if he is to win the league this term, Liverpool have to beat the Villans. However, Unai Emery’s team will be no pushovers because they will also need points in their pursuit of Champions League football for 2024/25 whenUEFA debuts a new format.

With 50 conceded goals in 34 matches, Aston Villa are not exactly a defensive team, so Liverpool will likely get their goal on the road. At the same time, the Villans have failed to score at home only once this Premier League season. With the likes of Ollie Watkins and Leon Bailey in their squad, they will find a way to upset the Reds too.

Tottenham vs Manchester City – Over 2.5 Goals

As the only important test for Manchester City in their conquest for the fourth consecutive league triumph, Tottenham Hotspur will play a crucial role in the title race despite not being directly involved. A rescheduled Round 34 game, this match is scheduled for Tuesday, May 14.

Spurs are a notoriously difficult rival for Pep Guardiola, with the Citizens recording just two wins in the last five head-to-head encounters. Man City won the cup match back in January with a minimal score, but the league duel a month earlier ended in an electrifying 3-3 draw.

Although Manchester City tend to be level-headed in the final stretches of the season, a motivated and recovered-after-injuries Tottenham can easily mess with Guardiola’s plans, especially if the hosts get an early lead. Another high-scoring game, no matter the outcome, seems a likely scenario.

Arsenal vs Everton – Under 2.5 Goals

One of the bigger fixtures of the last round of Premier League matches for 2023/24 will be the clash between Arsenal and Everton at the Emirates Stadium on May 19.

If Mikel Arteta’s men manage to keep up with Liverpool and Manchester City, the visit from the Toffees will become a must-win. Although not necessarily a top team, the Toffees are fiercely competitive towards the end of the season because of the threat of relegation. Having been deducted points eight points from by the federation, Everton are at risk of relegation in case of a string of bad performances.

With Arsenal fighting for the title and Everton fighting for their lives, a careful approach on both sides seems more than reasonable. This may result in a low-scoring game, similar to the 1-0 victory from Arsenal on the road in the first half of the season.
