Ajaccio Ochoa on Liverpool radar

According to Sky Sports Liverpool are hot on the trail of Ajaccio goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa.

The Reds manager Brendan Rodgers is reportedly ready to try and sign the 27-year-old Mexico international Ochoa, should their first-choice goalie Pepe Reina complete the switch to Barcelona. The Spaniard is believed to be keen on reuniting with his friends at Barca, where he came through the ranks before moving to England.

Currently the Blaugrana are looking or the replacement to Victor Valdes who has rejected offer of a new contract and is on the verge of leaving the club.

Reina established himself as a key member of the squad after moving from Villareal in 2005. He has made 18 appearances this season.
