Arsenal to offer £7,5 million for Ba

The Sun states that Arsenal are seriously considering the possibility of bringing in-demand Newcastle United forward Demba Ba to the Emirates Stadium.

According to the recent reports Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger wants to activate Demba’s £7,5 million release clause. The Gunners are reportedly ready to offer the Senegalese the tempting £60,000 p/w contract.

Newcastle are currently in contract talks with their forward, however Ba’s demands to increase his salary may prove the stumbling block.

Ba has made 15 appearances this season, scoring 8 goals.
