Barca leaders remain positive
The Catalan powerhouse stumbled upon Real Sociedad at weekend, but still stay at the top of the league.
Despite losing first La Liga fixture since 21 April to Real Sociedad 3-2 Barca players stay confident about the club’s performance. The best footballer player of 2012 Lionel Messi insisted that the defeat “had to come sooner or later”. Despite scoring in tenth consecutive La Liga game, Messi could not help theteam to escape the defeat, but the Argentinian insisted they lacked “killer instinct in front of goal.”
The captain of the team Carles Puyol claimed: ‘There are days when the ball hits the post and goes in and other days when that doesn’t happen.” Barca leader added that the side should analyze the game, adding: “there is a long way to go in the season and we are in good shape.”
