Barcelona chase Liverpool Reina

Daily Mail states that Barcelona are reportedly going to make a switch for Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina.

Barca are rumored to be looking for the replacement to their first-choice goalie Victor Valdes after he has astoundingly rejected the offer of a new contract. The current Valdes’ deal is set to expire in 2014 but the Blaugrana are willing to solve the problem beforehand. Reina is considered an ideal candidate to fill the soon-to-be vacant position of the goalkeeper as he came through the ranks of Barcelona youth academy.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is likely to accept the offer for his key player, as he desperately needs money to rebuild his side.
