Bastos joins Schalke

The German club confirmed the move of the Brazilian midfielder Michel Bastos from Lyon.

Schalke signed the player on loan until the end of the season. The sporting director of the club Horst Heldt claimed that he was satisfied with the transfer, underlining: “Bastos is an experienced international player who has special abilities and can help us immediately. He is also eligible to compete in the Champions League. “

Bastos made 12 Ligue 1 outings this season, netting five goals.
