Cahill moves to New York

Everton have agreed to sell Tim Cahill to the New York Red Bulls.

New York club paid the fee in the region of £1m for Everton player, previously reaching personal agreement with him. The official statement on Everton’s web site notes that the striker will travel to the US in the next few days where he will undergo a medical.

Cahill was signed by Everton in 2004 coming from Millwall for £1.5m.

The striker made 278 appearances for Everton and scored 68 goals, also playing for Australia national team at two World Cups.
