Chelsea down Manchester City at Stamford Bridge, Arsenal stay on top

A medoiocre performance by Arsene Wenger’s standards was still enough for Arsenal to beat struggling Crystal Palace and stay top of the table.

Mikel Arteta converted a penalty before being sent off on 65 minutes. 10-man Arsenal went on to kill the game off minutes before the end as Olivier Giroud netted from Aaron Ramsey pass.

Romelu Lukaku and Leon Osman scored for Everton at Villa Park to see the Toffees go past Manchetser City.

Fernando Torres dramatic goal on 90 minutes saw Chelsea win against Manchester City and continue their successful home run under Jose Mourinho. Andre Shurrle scored to give his side a lead in the first half, but Sergio Aguero equalized shortly after the break. The teams looked set to share points but a grotesque misunderstanding between Joe Hart and Matija Nastasic saw Torres hit the winner minutes before the final whistle.
