Chile has been the most controversial team throughout the tournament. Arturo Vidal was detained for drunk driving and crashing his red Ferrari, but went on playing for his side. Chile got 7 points in a relatively easy group with a goal difference of 10-3, but in play-off they only started to score after some of the opposing players got marching orders. The emotional Chileans are desperate to win their home tournament, but Argentina are definitely not a piece of cake.

Argentina started slow sharing points with Paraguay, but notched Uruguay and Jamaica to reach play-off stage. In the last eight David Ospina had to work hard to pull the team through penalty shootout versus Colombia. It was the semifinal against Paraguay that proved their ambition to win the tournament. 6-1 thumping and brilliant display from most players, including Lionel Messi.
