Corinthians starlet Paulinho relishes move to Inter Milan

Corinthians midfielder Paulinho revealed he would relish an opportunity to move to Inter Milan, amid rumours his agent is in talks with several clubs over a proposed move to Europe.

The 24-year-old Brazilian, who scored his national side’s second goal in Sunday’s international friendly 2-2 draw against England, is currently playing for Corinthians. Several top European clubs, including Shakhtar, Chelsea, Roma, PSG and Inter Milan have been linked with the move for a player, with the Italian side considered favourites to sign the player.

When asked about interest from Inter Milan, Paulinho replied: “I said and I repeat: I would go for sure to Inter. They are a club known all over the world. There played Ronaldo, Julio Cesar, Lucio, Maicon. Who would not want to wear that shirt? The fact that Inter would not participate in the next Champions League is not a problem, because they surely will want to take revenge.

“But if Inter want me they have to come forward with a right offer. I’m not a kid. I’m fine in Brazil, I play in a strong side like Corinthians and I’m one of the Selecao’s regular eleven. I must have the right motivations to leave all that,” he added.
