Everton Moyes ready to give Barkley a chance

Everton boss David Moyes is prepared to give his home-grown kid Ross Barkley a chance to break through into the first team.

Barkley has returned to the Goodison Arena following the loan spells with Leeds United and Sheffield Wednesday. The Toffees boss has turned down several new loan offers from the Championship sides for the highly-rated 19-year-old player. Moyes is planning to start Barkley in the forthcoming Premier League games to give him the first-team experience necessary for his further development.

Barkley is touted as a hot prospect for the future, but instead of using him as a backup for the first-team Moyes has loaned him out to the lower-profile league to prepare for the first-team duty.
