Hugo Lloris: "We must forget our losses and recover"

The French goalkeeper urges his teammates to concentrate on a victory in the match against Gerogia.

Tottenham Hotspur shot-stopper Hugo Lloris who slowly but surely cemented his place in the Premier League side insisted that today’s clash with Georgia is the focus of the team that will face World Cup holders Spain the following week.

“There are three points at stake in the game against Georgia. If you desire to represent France at the next World Cup, then we also have to focus on Georgia,” claimed Lloris during a pre-match press conference.

The keeper also underlined that recent defeats to Japan and Germany did not influence the side.

“During those friendly matches, we did not get the results we want but then, I’d rather win the matches that count. Of course we want to win every match but we must forget our losses and recover,” stated the player.
