Juventus defender Caceres is hospitalized after a car crash

The Uruguayan received cuts to his head and checkbone, but did not sustain any fractures.

The Turin-based side player Martin Caceres arrived into hospital after a car crash on Sunday night. The 25-year-old sustained a heavy bruise on his leg and will be sidelined for 30 days. Caceres will remain in hospital until Monday and might even undergo a plastic surgery for the cuts to his face the club informs.

The defender was going from Turin down Via Nizza at around 3.20am local time when another car sped up at the traffic lights and crashed into the player’s vehicle.
