Latest transfer rumours: Bayern target Porto youngster Eliaquim Mangala

The French starlet is likely to leave Portugal this summer.

Mangala moved to Porto from Standard Liege in 2011 for a fee of £5.7m. In the team the defender secured a place in the pecking order and played in all but three league matches this season, also featuring in all Champions’ League group stage games.

The agent of the player Fabrizio Ferrari confirmed the interest from the German side, claiming: “Bayern Munich and other clubs want a great player like Mangala. He is doing a good job at Porto and shows he was a great investment for Porto.”
