Lazio Hernanes ‘happy’ to be linked with PSG

Lazio midfielder Hernanes revealed he would be interested in making a switch to PSG this summer.

The 28-year-old Brazil international was one of few bright spots in Lazio’s otherwise unremarkable last season, as the clubs finished below expectations in the seventh spot. Yet they managed to partially redeem themselves before their fans by beating bitter rivals Roma to claim the Coppa Italia.

Hernanes’ impressive performances have caught attention of several top European clubs, including AC Milan and PSG who are looking to complete the move before the end of the summer transfer window.

Lazio have publicly denied any rumours linking Hernanes with a move to Milan, however the player himself revealed he is flattered by an interest of PSG and would jump on an opportunity of playing for such a well-supported club. He said: “I read interest there could be about me in France. That is something that makes me happy, to be coveted by a club of such level as PSG. But I don’t know any contact so far between a French club and my agent.”
