Brendan Rodgers prepares for Luis Suarez’ anticipated departure to Barcelona as Liverpool agree a transfer sum for Belgian youngster Divock Origi with Lille. The Reds could pay the fee in the region of £10m after signing a personal contract with the promising forward this week. Origi started his senior career with the French side in 2012 and notched 7 goals in 45 matches. In 2013 he received his debut call-up from the Belgium national side and scored a winner against Russia at the World Cup in Brazil.

Origi has become Liverpool’s fourth summer signing after Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana and Emre Can. Brendan Rodgers is also keen on bringing in Lazar Markovic from Benfica and Dejan Lovren from Southampton.
