Man Utd eye swoop for Brazilian starlet Antonio Carlos

Manchester United have sent their South American scouts to assess the potential of Corinthians’ promising defender Antonio Carlos.

The Red Devils’ officials have also made a formal enquiry about the availability of the talented centre-back, as they are weighting up the possibility of signing the player in summer.

The 19-year-old player is the Brazil Under-20 skipper and is held in high regard both among the fans and the coaching stuff. He is yet to establish himself as a first-team regular at the Estádio do Pacaembu.
