Marco Reus: ‘I always felt incredibly happy in Dortmund’

Marco Reus: ‘I always felt incredibly happy in Dortmund’

On Monday Marco Reus was presented at a press conference as a new BVB player.

At the presentation Reus said that his goal for the upcoming season was to get back to full fitness and try to play his best football, improving and taking steps forward every day. He underlined that at Borussia he had the best surroundings, coaching and teammates. He added that: ‘There are different areas where I can improve. Whether that my aerial ability or, even more so, my pace, my shooting skills. There are no perfect players in the world, and I always try to get the best out of myself.’

Reus did not think he could be compared to Shinji Kagawa that played on the same position in BVB last season, he admitted Kagawa was a wonderful player and it was no coincidence Manchester United signed him, yet the German player stated he had his own style, adding that: ‘I try to get the best out of myself so that I can help the team.’
