QPR complete Samba move

Eurosport informs Christopher Samba has joined Queens Park Rangers from Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala for a reported fee of £12.5million after the London side have activated his release clause.

Samba is believed to have signed a long-term contract worth £100,000-a-week.

This is the first signing of transfer deadline day for relegation-fighters QPR. The Rangers’ boss Harry Redknapp is said to be interested in bringing striker and midfielder to the Loftus Road.
