Seven new players in Watford

Watford was purchased by the Pozzo family recently and now the team is undergoing major transformation. The new owners brought a new coach Gianfranco Zola to the club and already completed seven signings this summer.

Goalkeeper Almunia from Arsenal penned a one-year deal with the team, as well as QPR defender Hall that played for the capital club in 14 matches last season. Watford also signed five less famous players from Granada and Udinese - midfielders Daniel Pudil, Almen Abdi and forwards Steve Leo Beleck, Matej Vydra and Ikechi Anya.

Watford technical director Gianluca Nani claimed the new signings would make a remarkable impact on the squad. He added that Watford would look for some more players during the season.
