Sissoko hails Fiorentina challenge

Former Juventus player says he is excited about a new club.

Mali international Sissoko was sold to the Parisian club by Juve in 2011, yet after a season in France the player returns to Italy. The midfielder penned a loan move with Fiorentina where he will stay till the end of the season, while the Tuscany side has an option to seal a permanent deal.

The player expressed his excitement about a new team, stating: “I’m absolutely ready to put all the experience and energy into reaching the aims this prestigious side deserves. “

The former Liverpool player praised the French team for the support they gave him. “I’d like to thank PSG and my teammates for everything they’ve done for me and especially the fans for their support. I’ll always feel a link with this great club. I wish PSG huge success in the future,” stated Mali star.

Sissoko will be presented to the team after the Africa Cup of Nations where Mali already reached knock-out stage.
