The Sun: Pep snubs Chelsea job to take charge of Man Utd

The Sun reports that former Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola turned down the offer to take charge of Chelsea, as he wants to replace Sir Alex at Man Utd.

Roman Abramovich has fired nine coaches for nine years and spent around £73 million in compensation – these figures signal clearly that Chelsea owner expects immediate results from his managers. According to The Sun Guardiola wants consistent job to resume his career and the way Man Utd is governed appeals to the Spanish coach. Moreover they are said to be “close friends” with Fergie and have allegedly met in New York to discuss the matter.
