Swansea Rangel and Flores could play against Norwich

Swansea have been given a huge boost with the news their first-team players Chico Flores and Angel Rangel could feature in the upcoming game against Norwich.

Flores limped off during Swansea 2-1 defeat against Tottenham after picking up an ankle injury, while Rangel suffered a calf strain.

However the Spaniards have recently returned to light training and Swansea boss Michael Laudrup hopes they can be included into the starting line-up for the away game against Norwich, as Swansea will try to end their run of three straight Premier League defeats. Laudrup said: “It will be a hard game, it will be a physical game, but we go there to get a point at least and if we can get all three then great. Norwich are a very strong team. They have had a bad run, but they play at home and they need six or seven points to be sure of survival. They will look at and think they need to beat Swansea, so we have to be ready for that.”

“I think we have shown with our performances since the cup final that we are not complacent about the rest of the season. We have lost the last three games, but we could have drawn all of them. We have been punished in the moments where we didn’t dominate the games, and that has made the difference,” he added.
