Valencia want to bring back Albiol

The club has already contacted the player, convincing him to return to the Mestalla in summer.

Raúl Albiol spent five years in Real Madrid, yet did not manage to secure a place in the first team. The defender that started his career in Valencia moving to the Capital side as a promising starlet yet lost competition to Varane who regularly starts in the pecking order.

Despite recently extending his contract with Real until 2016/2017, Albiol is likely to move to Valencia. The Centre-back has agreed to a return and the clubs are expected to settle the financial details in the nearest future.
