West Ham want to sign Carroll

One of the owners of West Ham David Gold admitted that the club would like to get Liverpool’s striker Andy Caroll.

After Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers told the press he was ready to let the player go on loan, rumors report on several clubs interested and Hammers are one of them.Talks between the sides are not yet confirmed.

West Ham received promotion to the Premier League only last season after winning the play-offs.

The English forward that joined the Reds in 2011 for 35 million pounds reached his peak form at the end of the season scoring for Liverpool both in the final and the semi-final of the FA Cup. Before that the striker was highly criticized as he did not meet the expectations of the fans.
