Aaron McCarey is a goalkeeper of Wolverhampton Wanderers. He was born on 14 January 1992 in Monaghan, Ireland.
In 2009, Aaron joined Monaghan United, but made only one appearance for the club during one season, which entailed his transfer to Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2010. The footballer was not given playing practice as well, but the management decided to send him on loan to AFC Telford United so that he could gain the necessary experience. McCarey spent 360 minutes on the pitch and returned to ‘The Wolves’, but was loaned out again, this time to Walsall. The keeper took part in four fixtures for the temporary team during one month and went back to Wolverhampton Wanderers, where he became a third-choice goalkeeper after Wayne Hennessey and Dorus de Vries. However, Aaron always tried to keep fit and be ready to give a hand to his club when needed.
