Craig Davies is a striker of Bolton Wanderers. He was born on 9 January 1986 in Burton upon Trent, England.
In 2003, Craig put pen to paper of his first professional contract with Manchester City after several years in the academy of the club, but failed to make any appearances during his début season. In 2004, the footballer completed a move to Oxford United and netted six goals in 48 fixtures for the new team during two years.
In 2006, Davies transferred to Hellas Verona, but featured only in one match for the club before being sent on loan to Wolverhampton Wanderers, where he made 23 appearances during six months.
In 2007, the striker sealed a deal with Oldham Athletic, but was loaned out to Stockport County almost at once. Craig fired five goals in nine games for the team during his spell and returned to his parent Oldham Athletic, where he took his tally to ten goals in 44 fixtures by 2009.
From 2009 till 2011, the footballer performed for Brighton & Hove Albion, Yeovil Town, Port Vale and Chesterfield and amassed 31 goals in 90 matches for all clubs during that period of time.
In 2011, Davies finalized a move to Barnsley and found the net 19 times in 60 games for ‘The Tykes’ during one year and a half.
In January 2013, Bolton Wanderers secured the striker’s services on permanent basis.
From 2002 till 2007, Craig featured in 22 matches and chipped in five goals for the Wales national U-17, U-19 and U-21 squads. From 2005, he has been capped six times for the senior national team.
