Domenico Criscito is a back of Zenit. He was born on 30 December 1986 in Cercola, Italy.
Domenico’s career took off in Genoa under the guidance of then head coach Claudio Onofri, where he made his début in the Serie B match against Cosenza at the age of 16.
In 2004 the young footballer moved to Juventus, and Antonio Nocerino bought 50% of his contract for about €500,000. In 2006 Domenico won the youth championship and performed in the Champions League as a sub, but he did not get an opportunity to come on the field.
On 8 June 2011, Napoli offered Criscito a contract worth €6 million. On 8 July 2011, the footballer sealed a deal with Zenit St. Petersburg for about €12 million. The back’s début for the new club came only on 6 August. He netted his first goal for the team ten days later in the match against Dynamo Moscow.
