Cristiano Ronaldo denies extending his deal with Real Madrid

Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo ruled out rumours he extended his stay at Santiago Bernabeu, sparking the speculation he may be willing to re-signing with Manchester United or moving to Monaco.

The Portuguese winger dismissed the reports, suggesting he has signed a new contract with La Liga giants via his Twitter feed. He wrote: “All the news about my renewal is false.”
The rumours came after Real Madrid president Florentino Perez announced earlier this week he is determined to make Ronaldo the highest earning player in the world. That said, Los Blancos are preparing a five-year contract worth of €80million.

Ronaldo has been linked with a big-money move to free-spending Monaco, who are reportedly prepared to table €100million for the player. Manchester United are also closely monitoring the situation with the player, as they are keen to take him back to Old Trafford.
