The Hong Kong Football Association announces the start of “Second Stage of The Jockey Club Youth Football Development Programme 2013”

Following the successful launch of the Summer Youth Football Scheme, the second stage of “The Jockey Club’s Youth Football Development Programme” – “Training Scheme” is now available for registration.

The aim of the “Training Scheme” is to provide youngsters with an opportunity to practice football and also participating in various competitions including the Elite Youth Leagues organized by the HKFA. This season-long programme (August 2013 through June 2014) is facilitated through all 18 districts in Hong Kong and covers players from age 7 to 18. The programme is designed to provide footballers of intermediate and advanced levels with an opportunity to train and learn systematically through proper guidance, and to play competitive football throughout the season. Through the programme, the Hong Kong Football Association will be able to identify and develop promising talent to play professional football.

Selection of Jockey Club Youth Football Development Programme – Training Scheme will begin in August. Interested participants can download the application form from HKFA website (www.hkfa.com) or obtain it from various District Leisure Service Offices under Leisure and Cultural Services Department.
