Latest transfer rumours: Afellay is courted by Inter and Lazio

The Italian superpowers start the race for Barca player.

Ibrahim Afellay’s agent Rob Jansen has opened talks with Inter and Lazio after Barcelona officials confirmed the club is ready to offload the youngster at the end of the season. Afellay fell down the pecking order at Camp Nou following knee ligament injury and moved to Schalke on loan this season.

The current contract of the player runs till 2015, the Catalans are reportedly ready to sell the 27-year-old for €6 m.
