New Man City manager Pellegrini eyes move for Real Madrid Pepe

With Manuel Pellegrini’s switch to Etihad stadium all but completed, the Chilean is already planning for the next season making the signing of Real Madrid’s controversial defender Pepe his top transfer target.

The 30-year-old Portugal international, who is best known for his stubborn character and disgraceful acts, fell out of favour with Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho, who preferred to field 20-year-old Varane to him at the heart of Lg Liga giants’ defense. Pepe may be willing to revive his career and jumps at opportunity of playing in Premier League.

Pellegrini also faces a difficult task of retaining all his stars, as Carlos Tevez has recently revealed he is keen on moving to France to join either Monaco or PSG. The 59-year-old Chilean could be also interested in signing Real Madrid’s Higuain, should Tevez leave the club.
