Premier League results: Man City secured Champions League qualification with a 1-0 win over West Brom

Edin Dzeko’s volley was enough for Man City to sink unmotivated West Brom and secure a minimum of third spot in Premier League.

City have been clearly dominating possession in the opening half, with their advantage resulted in Dzeko’s fine goal in 35th minute. The Bosnian met Tevez’s cross with a fine volley that left Myhill stranded.

Despite West Brom throwing everything at the hosts, the Citizens held on for a win that guarantees them automatic Champions League qualification. Second-placed City are currently seven points clear of their closest rivals Chelsea with two games to go.
