Queens Park Rangers agree deal for Ricardo Carvalho

Queens Park Rangers have agreed a deal with Real Madrid for Ricardo Carvalho, a former Chelsea defender, to join on one season loan.

Real Madrid’s manager, José Mourinho, said about Carvalho: ‘He is too good and too much self-worth to be a substitute.

‘The best solution for the end of his career is to find a club in an important league and that we try to find a club in an important league and we are trying to find a good solution for him and for us’.

The 34-year-old former Portugal defender, Ricardo Carvalho, was signed from Chelsea in 2010.
