Twente Fer set to join Everton

Daily Mirror states Everton are on the verge of signing Twente box-to-box midfielder Leroy Fer.

Everton boss David Moyes is said to be a long-time admirer of Fer who is known as Bouncer for his physical appearance and is touted as ‘next Vieira’ by media. The Toffees are thought to have agreed the transfer fee of £7 million for the 23-year-old Dutchman. Fer is believed to be heading for Liverpool to agree the personal terms and pass the medical.

The deal calls into doubt the future of Marouane Fellaini at the club who has been recently linked with a move to Man Utd.
